Just a Stone’s Throw Away

The Most Beautiful Destinations

Perfectly clear: Wild nature is the best fitness centre. And nature presents itself from its most beautiful side all around the Wieshof- boasting with various possibilities to get active. The cost-free ski bus is just 100 metres away. Alpendorf gondola (approximately four kilometres away from us) gets you right on the ski slopes of SnowSpaceSalzburg, in summer the Pongauer mountains await you as a varied and fascinating hiking area.

Observing it from a mountain summit, it seems nearly limitless: the horizons. In everyday life – in the office or at home on your couch – we notice that rather seldomly. The more liberating it is to leave all your limitations and to change perspectives. The mountains surrounding St. Johann offer hiking- and alpine paths for leisure hikers and experienced mountaineers. The Hochkönig awaits all of you who want to aim high with a total height of 2940 metres. Climbers can beat their limits at the demanding Königsjodler in Mühlbach. Families should make their way up high with the gondola to the Geisterberg – to a wooden constructed leisure – and experience park.

In winter all the surrounding ski regions invite to energetic experiences. The ones carving down on powder snow, might feel like high-flyers. And after doing some sports you find well-deserved relaxation at the Wieshof: In order to loosen strained muscles and to keep a cool head, just get your portion of heat in our sauna.
